Rory Peters

Rory is a CRUK Clinical Research Fellow and doctoral research student.  He has a clinical research background in autoimmune disease.  His current work, based in the labs of Prof. Ellie Barnes and Prof. Jane McKeating, examines liver cancer immunology and the role of hypoxia in the liver microenvironment.

As a DeLIVER clinical researcher, and the Chief Investigator of the Deep Liver Phenotyping & Immunology (DELPHI) study, Rory will directly sample and evaluate immunological differences between patients with liver disease and those who have developed liver cancer using "Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)" of the liver to acquire cells for analysis.
